Check out BUSNA’s new website!
Birdshot Uveitis Society of North America invites you to its new website!
Late in 2022, BUSNA’s Board decided to build a more engaging website. Nashville Lead Product Designer Jess Cohen, daughter of board member Liz Cohen, volunteered her website design services to the project. Following its launch in early June, the initial response from birdies was quite enthusiastic!
In addition to its vast array of informative information and blogposts about birdshot, the new busna.org website includes improved accessibility features for people with visual impairments. There are also translation options that include French and Spanish. So far we’ve heard from a number of visitors who are impressed with its ease of use.
Jess Cohen has been working in design since 2012, and has developed a passion around building accessible websites and digital products. To develop the new site she met with screen reader users and tested functionality, to ensure that the new site adhered to the highest accessibility standards.
We are grateful to Jess for sharing her expertise and contributing numerous hours toward developing the new busna.org. You are invited to visit Jess’s LinkedIn page here.
We sincerely hope that members of our birdshot community will be informed and inspired by our new website!
